Filling Ourselves

Online coaching focusing on filling up and grounding

Grounding and replenishing often go hand in hand as a lot of the practices we use to ground can fill us up as well. But there are also things like play, laughter, creativity, singing and connecting that fill us. By creating space for ourselves, we are opening to the nourishment from within as well as to the energy around us.

And the importance of this is simply because if we’re not full, we’re running on empty. We’re giving and creating and living from a place of fumes rather than a full tank. The simplicity of this often means it’s overlooked. Our relationships are strained, ideas half built, mind running through a thousand thoughts at once without being able to grasp on a single one.

We may not think we have the time to fill ourselves. But the irony is that when we take that time, we’re able to be a lot more efficient in the other areas of our lives. We put the full force of our being into the project or relationship or idea rather than the bits of ourselves that are strained.

We have this idea that we need to constantly be working and moving. We get sucked into the demands of life. But when we step back from that energy, exit the whirlwind and pause to fill ourselves, we come to it from another, larger perspective.

We realize the fullness of our being and the power we hold. We bring the fun and ease and sweetness into our work rather than reacting to pressure and stress. When we ARE more, we can do and handle more.

What can you do today to nourish yourself, to allow yourself to expand and fill?
