Areas of Focus:
-
Women's Health
From PMS to PCOS, women’s cycles often carry messages from our bodies. The messages can be related to hormonal changes and imbalance between different systems, as well as a disconnection between our cycles and our lifestyles. We work together to decipher the messages from your cycle and develop a treatment plan to have you feeling your most vibrant.
-
Coming Off Antidepressants
Conventional antidepressant tapering over several weeks often results in withdrawal symptoms that themselves are often mislabeled as relapse, leading to a perceived belief of needing to remain on the antidepressant medication long-term. Tapering the antidepressant medication in smaller increments over a longer period of time has been found to mitigate these symptoms and promote safe and successful discontinuation of the medication.
-
Women's Empowerment
Throughout history, women have lived in alignment with their sacredness and sovereignty. Today, in pursuit of empowerment, we conform to a masculine created society, trading our feminine qualities for the more socially acceptable masculine traits, and wonder why we feel disempowered and disconnected. Through our work together, we reconnect with your power, realign with your cycles and with the cycles of nature, rediscover the strength in your femininity and reclaim your radiance.
-
Aligning to Your Purpose
Distill what it is you truly desire and develop strategies to bring that life into fruition. Along the way, learn to prepare for and navigate the ups and downs that come with both “positive” and “negative” life transitions. Let go of physical, emotional or spiritual experiences that may have become stuck in your being. Hold the dichotomy of emotions that accompany this journey and come up with clear steps on the path you’re creating.
-
Depressive Symptoms
Often characterized by difficult emotions like sadness and guilt, depressive symptoms can be consuming, especially when it’s difficult to see past the accompanying darkness or heaviness. Together, we work through both root experiences as well as everyday strategies to bring light and lightness into this journey.
-
Anxious Symptoms
While nervousness related to certain experiences is a normal part of everyday life, feelings of worry or dread can sometimes linger and eat into larger parts of your life than you’d like. We work through managing stress and opening to a more expansive understanding of life.
Psychotherapeutic Approaches:
-
Humanistic Psychotherapy
We focus on self-awareness, personal growth and capacity for self-healing. We explore your unique experiences, focusing on the present moment and fostering a strong therapeutic relationship. Our goal is to empower you to connect with your potential, life authentically and find fulfillment in your life’s journey.
-
Hypnotherapy
Through deep relaxation and focused attention, we tap into your inner wisdom of the subconscious mind to create positive change. Hypnotherapy allows us to reach past the conscious mind, and create change and healing at a deeper level. This is great for mindset shifting, phobias, pain and deeper emotional work such as inner child healing.
-
Internal Family Systems
Within each of us lives a multitude of different parts that are constantly interacting with each other; we also have our true Self which is able to provide stewardship over these different parts. We get to know and learn to appreciate our various parts, then give them the opportunity to release the burdens that are causing us to react in ways that aren’t congruent with who we are today.
-
Coaching
Together, we embark on a transformative journey where we clarify your goals and take steps to cultivate the life you desire. We prioritize your inner journey, exploring thoughts, feelings, beliefs and intentions - unleashing the true power within. Balancing the yin and the yang, the being and the doing, we create lasting change.
